So happy you are staying outside the beltway right here in SoCal! Keep the pressure on all the bureaucrats! I really admire your work!

Yes, and as many people in an administration leave after two years, you might always change your mind and jump in later.

Johns Hopkins and by extension, the Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Health Security is where Bill Gates shoveled tens of millions of dollars. They were even able to get a DHHS Global Health minion Dr. Lawrence D Kerr (Vanderbilt) working on their Steering Committee.

I wouldn't trust anyone from that pandemic and event planning Johns Hopkins academia for FDA or to work in any government health capacity in 2025. Prove me wrong by releasing all documents between DHHS Global Health, DARPA and Johns Hopkins in an accessible to the public file. Oh and let it be published with a reawakening WikiLeaks.

There are good and bad apples in every institution. Marty has spoken out bravely and authentically. He has a long history of integrity and speaking truth to power that one can see in his books as well.

Thank you, Aaron, for your courage and for all you have done. I'm a little disappointed you will not be part of the reform effort, as Jay and Marty will need all the trustworthy help they can get. I am sure there will be enormous resistance to their cleanup efforts - possibly even more to Marty than to Jay, given the direct impact his insistence on evidence-based approvals will have on powerful interests who want the FDA to continue to rubber stamp their useless or even harmful drugs.

Confirmation of these nominees should not be assumed. Expect some betrayals from RINOS and Democrats who stand to lose contributions from the establishment.

I think that’s a great decision on your part to remain in an advisory role to your friends and colleagues and not become a part of the bureaucracy. It allows you to keep an objective view of events and circumstances because you’re not embroiled in the beltway. Thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do for our basic freedoms.

Thank you, I feel the same way.

Thanks for the update. A bit disappointing as you were one of the bright lights over the last years but all the best for your future success and I am sure your input will continue. Thank you for all you have done.

It says a lot about the man that his first interview in the Illusion of Consensus podcast was with a woman who had no political power and was facing a $300,000 fine. but held firm to her view that lockdowns caused more harm than good.

Very hopeful developments. Great interview. Thanks for your dedication to restoring democracy in America.

Sauer is your sister-in-law's brother-in-law. The valence is that of a double civil bond. No blood, no DNA, just social commitment on top of social commitment. It is said that a male marries his mother figure and the female marries her father figure, so your sister-in-law married your father and her sister married Sauer as the proxy for his mother. Our social kinship structures are crucial and we don't, IMHO, pay enough attention to them nowadays cause we live in technology mediated commercial/consumer webs and we just don't remember how connected we all are.

It is also way cool that Sauer is your defender of our rights!! My rights. Constitutional rights. Let's go get em. I was just talking with my wife who knows about Bhartacharya and Makary and Missouri v Biden. On top of all that incredibly good news is that someone like Sauer is now Solicitor General of the United States of America (or will be). Can you believe that?! You have made my day!

Let that settle in!!

We have come a long way from silenced, shamed and sacked! I’m looking forward to a transformation in healthcare policy!

I really enjoyed this interview and your comments about the new appointees in the health arena. I, too, am excited about Dr. Bhattacharya. I’ve listened to his Substack and find him to be a very thoughtful and pragmatic man. The Great Barrington Declaration confirmed what I told my family was how we should be handling the pandemic. My experience in health care was how we always handled widespread disease. The irony of his pick did not escape me. Of course, I was delighted when RFKJr was picked for HHS. Ever since I read his book, The Real Anthony Fauci, I’ve admired him and his plans to restore truth and safety in our health agencies. I don’t really know the others, but I do have reservations regarding the Surgeon General pick. There are definitely others who could do an outstanding job(my pick was Dr. Joe Lapado). I’m happy to hear that you are assisting in writing policy. I have followed you for some time, and your book, The New Abnormal, was very helpful in helping me understand many issues while supporting my values. The good character of those you discussed, as well as your own good character and high principles, makes me very hopeful that we are soon going to see great things happening in our healthcare system. Thank you for posting this enjoyable Substack.

The surgeon general pick bothers many of us … wondering if there was a change of heart and mind-as the hoax unraveled into oppression-and Trump knows that to be true?

There was no pandemic. If you're not smart enough to have realised that yet, you should be deeply alarmed that "your friends" have not. It's stunningly obvious if you turn of your TV.

I pray and hope that your friends bring on great change. As a parent of a child with Autism (as a disability not personality type), let them know that there is a great need for treatment (even to reduce symptoms) of Autism. I am tired of hearing the statistics of 1 in 36 have autism and there is nothing being done about it. Some pharma companies are looking at ATP signaling being off, but to wade through the bureaucratic mess is years and years away for treatment. And marijuana should not be schedule 1, de-schedule or reschedule it such that is available to the populace on a greater scale. It has already being shown to help with mood, sleep, pain, seizures and as an appetite stimulant. The fact that marijuana is schedule 1 is cruel while other drugs are allowed. And let's not even talk about the hypocrisy of alcohol.

We do need independent thinkers, those who will defend free speech and who love God and country. Thank you for your continued work to speak truth to power and show love for humanity. Need more of that. Keep up the good fight.

I'm skeptical about Marty Makary. Why? He seemed to be riding the fence most of the time. I don't ever remember him stating a contrary opinion (to big medicine) with conviction. After Rochelle Walensky was appointed CDC director, and when medical heroes were voicing objections to her protocols, he said, paraphrasing, he considered her a friend, very qualified and a nice person. This may be true, but he didn't dare say he opposed her protocols. I think he's more of a "star" and is very political. Like you say, we'll see how things play out. I do appreciate, however, his even-keeled demeanor.
