We are on track for an incredible win. Thank you Dr. Kheriaty for your courage and perseverance in speaking up for our 1st Amendment rights. Your efforts are helping restore our confidence in the American justice system!

maybe a win but whats the punishment. THe federal budget needs to be cut by 3 trillion dollars and the income abolished, the federal reserve abolished. WHat will be the punishment.... how about all the federal agencies that violated free speech be ELIMINATED!

The governmental and NGO corruption is embarrassing. I hope the justices in the SCOTUS do the right thing.

Fingers crossed. I hope they won’t be persuaded by either the latest extreme situation with Israel (and the more obvious need for censorship in wartime) or imagining that they are making unreasonable demands on government agencies. As a former US government official, I can tell you that in the old days (before the Twitteratti Silicone valley political appointees showed up) most agencies’ staff were absolutely prohibited from ever talking to the press. Those conversations and contacts were reserved entirely for the press office, which worked with the front office and very occasionally brought the civil service it, but in their presence.

Thank you for all your miraculous hard work and super brain behind it… What the agencies did during Covid was a travesty. They were doing the kinds of things that, even if for sake of argument were within their authority, should’ve been subject to notice and comment with a draft evenhanded regulation setting out the specific criteria. My guess is they wouldn’t be able to draft anything that on its face would pass first amendment muster, so went full tyrannical.

Wartime? Oh, yes, the culture wars. Yes, how the Court votes will let us know who is a zealot.

Just relaying what is likely to be the latest “buzz“ in the DC/suburban MD country club or cocktail circuit in which some of the Supremes seem to participate. I suspect some of them have never heard of Substack or any alternative to the New York Times, Washington Post etc.

Understood. There's a new zeitgeist. Speech is violence, some is toxic, it's a threat to our democracy, and must be silenced by any means necessary. The alternative is compromise with racism, sexism, systemic oppression, etc. as in EVIL incarnate and that's not an option for social justice warriors. It is a war of the righteous against those who . . . disagree.

It will be interesting to see how the high court votes. They will reveal their adherence to the Constitution or something else.

THis is great news/. SCOTUS is almost certainly going to rule majority that executive Branch violated 1 amendment... question is? We all know they did... and its now the first time. ALmost NOTHING the fed gov does is consitutional. THE existence of the NIH , FDA and CDC is not authorized by the constitution. Neither is social secutiry, medicare... and whole host of other BOONDOGGLES>

what is the punishment? What will be the result. Will the state be rolled back? Will the fed gov SHRINK in siZe and power and scope. Doubtful....

The feds’ claws need to be clipped and filed down to sport length for sure! This isn’t what was intended for our country!

I am on the edge of my seat, and will continue to be until a ruling is made. The Bible mentions endurance and perseverance in several places, and I pray that you and your team are blessed richly with both.

I am currently reading a quite old copy of John Adams and the American Revolution, by Catherine Drinker Bowen. It’s an inspiring read, and crystallizes what our country was truly founded on. I highly recommend it, as I imagine it would surely serve as not only encouragement, but a rich source of pertinent, powerfully moving information that would be perfect to quote to the SCOTUS during oral arguments.

To borrow from Brandeis, I will respect SCOTUS when its actions and decisions are respectable. Hoping for the best, hoping Madison’s dream that the judiciary will be the last bulwark against tyranny will be realized.

Publicity is everything. Supreme Court track means it is time to raise even more awareness of the issue so the Courts knows how to vote…cuz a lot don’t know how to read the Constitution.

Great job, my friends!
