I would suggest you set up a consulting service for employers as well, in terms of helping counterbalance the huge effort by pharma to push out vax only policies to employers throughout the country. Many executives are open to some counterbalance but classically they look for and need cover from experts. The Intel policies are good; but, fighting this needs to involve providing a counter balance to the vax alone consultants, like Dr. Ostroff (fmr CDC FDA), that are out there pushing one sided pharma-driven policies.
This is terrible to hear but I suppose not surprising given the tyrannical, unscientific approach we have seen thus far by not only CA but other states and businesses. No one has been able to refute the reliability of natural immunity and the urgency of boosters only bolsters your case. I hope that you can make it. We believe in your cause. Perhaps setup telehealth to go nationwide. There are apps like LiveHealth that I've personally used for doctor vists. I bet you will get many patients. (I know its not the same but many of us are more used to it now)
I am truly sorry that it has come to this, Dr Kheriaty. This is the stuff of nightmares. What is next? Gulags? I can only continue to offer my support, all the way from the tip of Africa, and hope that the many of us who support you can help absorb some of the shock you must be feeling. After all, today it is you, and tomorrow it will be us. That day has already reached me (officially from yesterday, in fact), and my waking in the mornings is now filled with dread. I am already contemplating losing my livelihood, without which our family will struggle, as well as the university subsidy which educates my children and which I can't afford to lose. I don't know if I have it in me to face that second injection after needlessly suffering with the first, but it may come to that.
At any rate, know that there are many who value what you are doing and who applaud your courage and tenacity. Perhaps there will be value in untethering from these institutions which have lost their way. A way in which to come into your own, without the stultifying hindrance of academic cowardice, coercion and rational paralysis.
Shame on UCI! Please let us know when and where you land your temporary practice- I say temporary because I have to believe you will eventually prevail. We all have to believe in your triumph or our freedoms are toast. My whole family, like yours, are naturally immune and we are treated like second class citizens, like lepers. We have our jobs, for now. But we live on the edge, always waiting for the next edict…. .so we know your pain, although we are not as brave as you (yet). We thank God for you daily.
I am a student at uci. I am banned from campus. If I was allowed to go, I wouldn’t; the disrespect over email from school officials has been more than enough for a lifetime. What they are doing to you and students alike is shameful. Thank you for standing up for the medical rights of everyone at the university.
I would also like to point out that the forms they provided for medical exemptions for students were entirely outdated. From my complaints they were updated after the date exemptions/vaccine status needed to be uploaded. If this information will help your case please let me know.
